Boulder County commissioners will let a moratorium on drilling for oil and gas expire on June 10, the Daily Camera reports.
The county's moratorium, which meant no new applications would be processed for companies wanting to drill, went into effect in February 2012 and has been extended twice.

An Iowa man drew a 37-year federal prison sentence for mailing pipe bonds to mutual fund companies in 2007, including Denver's Janus Capital Group Inc., Bloomberg reports.
John Tomkins, 48, was convicted last year of 12 counts, including possession of an unregistered explosive device. He admitted during his trial that he mailed the bombs, but said he didn't connect the battery so the bombs wouldn't have exploded.
